Great location to see Bellagio and take boats to nearby towns to see Villas.
Great location, nice simple decoration, clean and very calm
The single room bed was quite small
Room was clean yet very old. Facilities were average. Lakeside location would have been great had the ferry boat not been docking there and blowing fumes into our room every half hour. Staff was helpful with planning activities for the day.
Had to pay cash for stay as when we went to check out they said they didn't have a functioning credit card machine. I am thinking they preferred the cash. No frills. No hotel parking available. Ferry boat fumes coming through lakefront view window.
The hotel enjoys an excellent location very close to the 2 ferry piers in Bellagio.
The bedrooms are very basic in every respect.
The location is great--right on the shore of Lake Como--and is beautiful.
the view over the lake was as you say splendide and the marble staircase was very nice
the beds were uncomfortable and the pillows very thin.
The hotel is situated in front of the port therefore is extremely noisy! The night I was there was a piano-bar with loud music in the hotel pub till midnight! The design of the hotel is very old and the price not proportionate!
The location was great. We were lucky and got one of the hotels three rooms with a balcony. Lovely lake view. Love the high ceilings of the old building.
Very basic room. Hard bed. Poor breakfast even by Italian standard.
Loved the complimentary breakfast and the location was right in the center of everything happening in Belliago!
Would have preferred nicer bed linens.
there was a fabulous little balcony in our room over looking the street, the lake and the mountains/alps in the background. it was wonderful.
Location was very central providing lovely views and easy access to Lake Como. All Bellagio facilities only a few steps away
Bed sheets were not changed during our 4 day stay
The hotel was situated in the heart of Bellagio with shops, ferries, buses, restaurants, parks and the charming village all within a few steps. The lobby and dining room were lovely and the meals were good.
My room was an "inside" room on the first floor, facing the courtyard. I could hear a lot of clatter and noise from the kitchen. A woman in the kitchen yelled frequently to the staff. There was mould on the walls in the bathroom because of inadequate ventilation. When it rained there was a constant drip, drip sound that was annoying during the night.
The hotel was tired and was missing a number of basic facilities
Room was comfortable with a classic Lake Como view, one of the reasons we picked this hotel. Staff were excellent, very helpful, cheerful and proactive. All round happy enough with functionality of hotel but do not consider it great value. If you go to this hotel its two greatest assets are the view and the staff.
Breakfast not bad, perhaps a little basic Location is a little noisy with ferry and motorbike park directly outside window, so windows need to be kept closed which is not ideal for a room without air-con. The lack of curtains or shutters that work was annoying also.
The lakeside location is excellent however, the hotel is somewhat dated and very tired. It is in urgent need of refurbishment.
No parking. No air conditioning.
